I usually do not write reviews; however, when an individual and a business demonstrate an remarkable level of service, I feel one is in order. My wife’s car had problems starting last Friday, so we called Mobile Tech to see if they could check it out. Despite having a very full service schedule that day, Stephen assured us that he would work it in at some point. As it turned out rats had climbed into the engine block, built a nest, chewed on a wiring harness, and since it was the weekend it would probably take a couple of days to get the parts in and installed (pitfalls of owning a Volkswagen). Stephen was outstanding in arranging for us a rental car, keeping in constant communication with us over the progress of the repair, and the repair was completed at a much lower cost than what we would have paid at the dealership. Thank you to the mechanics, and thank you Stephen for your level of service.

We had our car in for a dragging starter. After having the car for a while they quickly contacted us with an estimate for $650 for other repairs (that were due on the vehicle) and said the starter was fine, but our newer battery was faulty and should be replaced. The issue didn't sound like it would be a battery given the symptoms, but I'm not the world's best mechanic either. We picked the vehicle up and had the battery checked and it tested fine on our own and at the auto parts store. We continued to have issues w/ the starter. We took the vehicle elsewhere and the starter was indeed bad. Mobile Tech did a good job on the services they performed, but unfortunately they were not the services we needed/requested. UPDATE: We replaced the starter 9 months ago and haven't had an issue since. The battery was fine as we suspected and continues to work properly in the vehicle.

Jason, Any chance you can swing that car my North Market St. location? I'd like to personally test the battery. As I am highly aware of what causes starters to fail, a battery. After reading the technicians notes including voltage drop testing that was done, I'd like to just kill my curious side and test that battery. I will gladly pay you for 10 minutes of your time. The expert team at MobilTech saved our family Prius! Stuck out of town at the beach with a Prius is no way to spend a vacation. The awesome technicians at MobilTech repaired our Prius in a timely manor that allowed us to continue or vacation WITHOUT a trip to the dealership. Hands down the ONLY place to bring your hybrid to in Wilmington, NC.

Can't say enough good things about MobileTech. I first went there after the second location opened and the service was honest and affordable. After over a year, they've earned the service of two more of my vehicles. Definitely reliable and trustworthy.

Great staff, very professional and skilled. I saw first hand that their techs refuse to do sub-par work. The tech I watched work said to a fellow tech "if it isn't perfect then it isn't fixed". I will bring my car from Jacksonville to get it fixed here.

I do appreciate the review. My guys aren’t here to pump out sub par work, we are here to fix it right the first time every time. While there will always be human error or circumstances beyond our control, we do make every attempt to get right.
