Getting tires and a rotation went well enough but I asked them to check my check engine light, not realizing that meant they’d run a $200 and some dollar diagnostic. So great surprise there. It’s easy enough to find a different car / tire shop, pick somewhere that is more upfront about their service and prices. When somebody doesn’t understand industry lingo it’s the techs job to explain clearly what something means. When I hear check the check engine light im thinking it’s like plug and go at advanced auto - no idea he’s going to take hours to comb over everything. I’m not a mechanic and I shouldn’t be expected to understand what a diagnostic is from a brief mention as I’m dropping off the car. While paying I did let my frustration show and dropped my card on the table to pay instead of handing it to the tech. He said well any chance I had of refunding that diagnostic is gone. IMO that means he knows it was a little on the wrong side to charge for it. Edit: after looking at my receipt, the diagnostic was $108, there was a $90 labor charge for installing the tires that I thought was included in the per tire price. It was included next door at Hughes brothers. Big lesson for me, pay attention more and find a car repair shop that won’t take advantage

Mobile Tech never disappoints me. They are very detailed in explaining what is wrong with your vehicle and give you price quotes to fix your car that are reasonable. I can't say enough good things about MobileTech. Recently they went above and beyond when servicing my vehicle. The office staff and techs found a issue after I had paid and wouldn't let me have it back until it was right. Top Notch in my book. A++++

Ive used these guys for repairs in the past and was always treated fairly. Today I was in Wilmington for work in my new electric car and the city car chargers in the market st garage were not working and I checked Plugshare and found Mobiletech has an EV charger. I plugged in for a few hours and they were super friendly and let me get enough charge to get to my next stop! Thank you for serving us so well!

Took my car for repairs and was pleased with the service, they were informative and professional. The cost was fair and a lot cheaper than what the dealer quoted me. Will definitely use them again and hopefully next time the service would be quicker.

Received work on my car from mobiletech early this year. Spent 3k. Car road great. I loved that they had 3 yr warranty on their work and the reviews at both locations were great. Took my car back for an oil change went out of town, came backz my car was jerking. Called mobiletech and was asked why I waited so long to call them about the jerking. That rubbed me the wrong way. Especially after I'd explained I'd been out of town and my car hadn't been driven in 2 weeks and was told I'd be charged a diagnostic fee. I decided to just drive cuz id just soent 3k. The car couldn't have been that bad. 4 months later, the jerking has gotten worse. I called and took my car to get serviced. After researching I knew the issue was with the fuel pump or something with the fuel. When the guy called back and said it was my engine mounts I said are you sure its nothing to do with my fuel? He said no the vibration came from the engine mounts. I said do you mean the jerking? He said yes. I needed my car back asap for work and theyd done great work before so I told him to go ahead because hed also said we need to order parts asap. I google vibration of car while driving and it said engine sliding is what caused the vibration but I hadn't experienced that. It was a jerk. When the guy called back he said we got your car back but its still jerking not as bad. I was pissed immediately because I knew theyd just picked some shit to charge me for. My car started JERKING soon as I pulled off! Same hard jerk! Not even a week later, yesterday!I'm on my way to work and my car starts the worst shake ever! No longer a jerk! I was scared I was going to cut off in the middle of the street! Had my car towed to to mobiletech this morning, they called and said guess what?! We need to reboot your fuel system and replace your coils all for 1100 dollars! When I'd told the mfs it was the fuel system in the 1st place! When I told them about my original statement about the fuel. All he did was keep repeating what he read on the paperwork! Then said they showed me the mount like I knew wtf a engine mount looked like! And yes! My car has 140k miles on it. Had my suspicion been confirmed about the fuel I may have opted out! Over 800 put of pocket! I'd never take my car back here!now I cant drive my car at fucking all!

I like these guys. Professional, pretty quick and I trust them.
