I took in my car because I noticed a puff of smoke coming from the engine and a burning smell. I told them I suspected a coolant leak and would need a hose replaced. They charged me $150 to run a diagnostic on the car. Later that day, Mobiletech called me and said they found no coolant leak, but there was a freon leak from the AC condenser, some loose parts, and wheel bearings that needed replacement. They recommended $2700 worth of work (the car is 20 years old). I declined the work, paid the diagnostic fee, and left. Hours later, all of the coolant leaked out of my car and I am now trying to put water in the overflow tank just so I can get it home from work and to a repair shop that actually knows what they are doing. It is one thing to recommend ridiculous and superfluous repairs - I expect to be upsold - but the failure to identify the actual problem and repair it is inexcusable. I even told them I suspected a coolant leak. The fact that I paid $150 for a comprehensive diagnostic where mobiletech failed to diagnose an obvious problem is tantamount to theft and fraud. Not impressed with their services. Overheating notification came on and we were told our Chevy cruze thermostat was rusted. Estimated ~140 for the part and just about as much for labor. We completed the fix ourselves for 40 and an hour of our time (thanks YouTube). Yes it was a bad thermostat but there was no rust what so ever. There would have been no way for them to even tell without draining all the fluids and taking the part off.

I really appreciate the quality of work and the ease of working with the advisors. I recommend Mobile Tech to anyone I know who needs car care. They are excellent!

Kind of on the expensive side. Mobile tech was recommended to me by somebody else but after almost $900 for an remanufactured ECU replacement and a chipped key I've called around and got lower estimates ($500-$725) from everyone else ..... They fixed the problem though and the guys there were really professional, although when I left my vehicle started shaking extremely bad. On the bill it said it was shaking intermittently at idle but there was no intermittent about it and when my truck got up to like 35/40 miles an hour it started shaking extremely bad and nobody had mention that to me while they were replacing my ECU. I probably would have just had him fix that while it was there....

They took good care of my truck.

Long term oil consumption tests have to bring in car every 1000 miles,has recall catalytic converter, and exhaust sensor waiting to get fixed
